I'm New

Welcome

Open to All. We mean it. No matter who you are or what your story, we welcome you with unconditional love, since that’s exactly how Jesus welcomes you. Because of this, expect to see diversity at Gobin—in age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and life experience. We place a high value on diversity.

Plan your Visit

Do you have questions before you even walk in our door for the first time? Take a look at some of our answers below.

What kind of worship can I expect?

Gobin Church offers two communal worship services on Sunday mornings. Gobin Beginnings at 9am and Gobin Mosaic at 11am. A service of word and table, “Beginnings” will include familiar prayers, liturgies, and hymns accompanied by our pipe organ or piano. In Gobin Mosaic, participants are invited to engage with a pattern of word and table that might be described as creative and diverse. Liturgies and prayers represent diverse and often minority populations.

Our services are family friendly, and children are invited to stay throughout the entirety of the service. Whether you prefer traditional, contemporary, secular, jazz, guitar, or organ, at Gobin you will find a meaningful expression of our diverse faith community.

What should I wear?

You will see people in a wide array of outfits, from jeans to dresses and jackets, so wear whatever feels right for you. We just want you to be comfortable!

Where can I park?

Good news! You can park wherever you like. There are two parking lot entrances, one on Locust Street and one on Seminary St. There are also a number of parking spaces on the street surrounding the church building.

Which door should I enter?

If you plan to attend one of our small groups at 10am you may prefer to enter the glass doors on the West side of the church (Spring St.). If you are coming for our 9am or 11am worship services you may be better off entering any of the red doors on the East side (Locust St.) You can’t miss the original, main entrance with red double doors.

Where do we take our children on Sunday morning?

We offer small groups for ALL ages at 10am. If you are bringing your children to an age-appropriate small group, you may prefer to enter the glass doors on the West side of the church (Spring St.) There, you will find a volunteer ready to check-in your child. And, hey, you should stick around for an adult small group!

If you are coming to the 11am service you are welcome to enter the sanctuary WITH your child. After the Children’s Blessing, you and your child are invited to visit the “PrayGround” located at the north end of the sanctuary, closest to the action! We love the sounds of children in worship! We also offer a staffed nursery for children 0-3 yrs.

If you are planning a visit to Gobin Church, please feel free to call ahead: 765-658-6010. We would love to arrange for a member of our Radical Hospitality team to meet you, answer any questions you might have, or if you like, even attend service with you.
