Gobin Church Statement of Inclusion and Welcome

We at Gobin Church embrace as a gift the diversity of all and proclaim that all people are created in God’s image and of sacred worth. 

God’s love is boundless and does not discriminate or exclude. 

We welcome and affirm persons of any age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith tradition, economic status, marital status, gender identity/expression, mental and physical ability or place on the political spectrum. 

We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and know that all, as beloved children of God, are worthy of God’s love and grace. 

We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Gobin Church as we journey toward reconciliation through Christ. 

We recognize our differences as wonderful gifts that remind us that even though we may not think alike, we must love alike. 

These differences enrich our spiritual community as we continue to share our whole selves with one another. 

We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of discrimination in the church or in society and embrace them as they join us in our mission to become disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
