As a volunteer-led not for profit, Transformers’ vision is to mobilize a broad-based coalition of community members to empower neighbors to build new resources through compassionate relationships where everyone involved is transformed. Our foundational strategies include:
- Focus on transformation for individuals
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships
- Respect differences and individuality
- Have measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with other community resources and programs
- Ministry WITH people and not FOR people
Transformers encompasses four programs: Getting Ahead in Putnam County, Kids Hope USA, TALKS and Pay it Foward (PIF). Transformers is an outreach of Gobin Church that is growing county wide.
