Are you interested in making a difference in the life of a child? Kids Hope USA is a national mentoring organization that matches one young child with one mentor for one hour each week during the school day. Gobin mentors are partnered with students from nearby Deer Meadow Primary School and Tzouanakis Intermediate School. Mentors, prayer partners, and sponsors are needed! A brief description of these roles is included below. For more information or any questions, please feel free to contact Gobin’s Kids Hope Coordinator, Carol Miller, at 828-606-6354 or firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.kidshopeusa.org.
Kids Hope Mentor: A dedicated volunteer willing to be trained and then share their time of one-hour per week with an elementary-aged student. This hour would consist of homework help, creative play, reading, listening, and sharing while offering support and guidance to a young child.
Kids Hope Prayer Partner: A volunteer matched with every mentor. This individual provides support, encouragement, and prayers for the mentor/student relationship.
Kids Hope Sponsor: A giving individual willing to offer monetary support to a mentor/student relationship.
