We kicked off the Heroes Community Film Series in September with the movie “Selma”, which was about Martin Luther King Jr. Now join us this month on October 25 for a showing of the film “Milk”, which follows the story of Harvey Milk, and his struggles as an American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California’s first openly gay elected official.The Heroes Film Series is a community event, which will feature three films about incredible, everyday heroes. Join us on September 21 for Selma, October 25 for Milk, and November 30 for Schindler’s List. All showings are at 6:30pm at Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church. Free admission. Popcorn provided!
